Michel Jansen
Michel Jansen studied at the Technical University Delft. In 1995 he received an MSc degree at the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. Since 1996 has lectured at The Hague University on the subject of Industrial Design Engineering and Human Technology. He uses video in his lessons, especially video reports of excursions and with usability tests. Since 2003 he is working at the Centre for Educational Training, Assessment and Research (CETAR) of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) as an advisor in the field of ICT and Education.
Since 2005 he is a member of "Webstroom", a national working group on the use of streaming media in higher education, funded by the Dutch organisation SURF. He is also editor of the Webstroom-website. In 2005 he co-founded the VIDEOgroep VU, a community for teachers from the Vrije Universiteit on the topic of video and education.
