Nick de Heer

Nick de Heer has a background in Visual Anthropology. After his study he contributed to a wide variety of audiovisual productions for scientific, broadcasting and promotional purposes.

Since 2004 he works as a professional trainer at the Audiovisual centre (AVC) of the Vrije Universiteit and VU medical centre.

His skills are:

- Teacher and student trainer on camera and video editing technique.

- The use of video and photography as a research tool.

- Audiovisual consultant at Exposure and 5minutesoffame student filmfestivals.

- Co-trainer at Train the Trainers programme in Moldova.

- Participation as a trainer on streaming video projects at the Vrije Universiteit.

- Multimedia training for medical professionals at the VU medical centre.
